Gail Wagner

Gail Wagner has explored a variety of materials and techniques over the course of her career, while maintaining a consistent interest in the natural world. Previous approaches range from two-dimensional non-objective works to large-scale fiber sculptures. Her current body of acrylic paintings combine abstraction and realism, using imagery from nature to examine broader ideas.

Her pieces have been displayed widely in Colorado and across the United States. In 2025, she completed an artist residency at La Maison de Beaumont in the south of France.

Gail Wagner has both a Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the California Institute of Technology.
